On Saturday, April 30, Kunratice forest was filled with runners who raced not only for their hearts. The charity event Proběhni.se attracted 448 competitors, whose entry fee will go in full to the account of the Czech Heart Foundation. It has been helping people with heart problems for a long time. This year, together we raised an incredible 264 640 CZK! Over the course of its existence, the charity run, together with the Foundation and the competitors, has raised well over one million crowns and saved dozens of lives.

Did you know that every other Czech is dying of heart disease?   The leading Czech cardiologists have said enough and decided to draw attention to the seriousness of the situation. The doctors from the Czech Heart Foundation with the RAUL Agency have set up a running race Proběhni.se, which points to the issue. Running the Kunratic Forest is a second year on Saturday, April 13th.   450 200 CZK!   The proceeds from the first year, which, with the support of the partners of the plant and all the participants, went to the endowment fund account is already fully utilized.

300,000 patients with heart disease end each year in Czech hospitals. Moreover, half of people in the Czech Republic die of cardiovascular disease. This is why a new charity project of health professionals from the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine Proběhni.se was established, whose proceeds will support the activities of leading Czech cardiologists not only on missions in Third World countries organized by the Czech Heart Foundation. A run for the general public Proběhni.se will be held in the spring of 2018 and wants to draw attention to the prevention of heart disease.

In the Czech Republic approximately 500 children with heart defect are born annually. Most of the defects can now be corrected by surgery or catheter performance. But there are areas in the world where the incidence of such complications is many times higher and there is no effective aid. For this reason, the African Heart Foundation has been set up to provide effective and long-term assistance to children with cardiac problems. In December of this year, a benefit show will be held in Mánes, Prague, called Art for Heart.

The first two African Sudan students arrived in the Czech Republic on August 15th. The four-week study internship will allow them to acquire knowledge from the experts of the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague - IKEM, especially in the field of cardiology, which is in the Czech Republic at world level.
