After completing his studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Hradec Králové, he joined the IKEM Cardiology Clinic in 2009, where he currently works as a general practitioner at the Department of Intensive Care. In 2016 he successfully passed a cardiology certificate. He completed his postgraduate studies focused on the diagnosis and treatment of infectious endocarditis in 2018, and earned a Ph.D. Since 2017, Dr. Pazdernik holds the title "Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC)". In addition to his clinical work, he devotes himself to teaching and research activities and publishes in Czech and foreign literature. In 2012-2016, he was chairman of the Czech Cardiology Working Group of the Czech Republic (Cardio 35 CCP) and was a member of the ESC Cardiologists of Tomorrow nucleus member in 2012-2017. He has completed internships in the US (Mayo Clinic and University of Iowa), the United Kingdom (University Hospitals of Leicester), Germany (Herzzentrum Leipzig) and Sudan (Salam Center for Cardiac Surgery).
He graduated from the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague (1983). After acquiring professional qualification in internal medicine and cardiology at the 2nd Internal Medicine Department, General University Hospital in Prague and 2.5 years in clinical research at St. George's Hospital in London, began in 1996 to work as a specialist in the field of electrophysiology at the Division of Cardiology at IKEM, where he works since 2001 as the Head of the department. In 2005, he was appointed professor of internal medicine at the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. Prof. Kautzner is an internationally recognized expert in the field arrhythmology, holds the title of "Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology", he is a member of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), and in 2010-2012 he was a member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) board. He is the organizer of a number of educational events and assists in the development of many centers in Europe and the Middle East.
He is a renowned Czech cardiologist devoted primarily to arrhythmias. Currently Head of Internal Cardiology Clinic of the University Hospital in Olomouc and lecturer at the Palacky University Medical Faculty. From 2001 to 2006, Chairman of the Working Group of arrhythmias and permanent pacing of Czech Society of Cardiology. He is a member of the Deutsche Kardiologische Gesellschaft (Germany) and Cardiac Electrophysiology Society (US). Since 2015 he is a Chairman of the Czech Society of Cardiology.
He is a pediatric cardiologist who has been specialized in cardiac rhythm disorders in children. In the years 1999-2008 he worked at the Children's Cardiocenter in Motol hospital, Prague. Since 2008 he works as a Head physician of Pediatric Cardiology Clinic at the University Hospital in Leipzig, where he works also with patients with grown-up congenital heart disease. He is a member of several scientific societies.
He is attorney cooperating with Kocián-Šolc-Balaštík law office and assistant professor at the Department of Private Law (Faculty of Law, University Palackeho Olomouc). Between 2008 and 2009 he worked as an assistant of the President of the Supreme Court. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University (Mgr. 2008, Mgr. 2010, Ph.D. 2015), Faculty of Social Studies (Bc.) And Columbia University in New York (LL.M., 2010).
He graduated in Media Studies and Journalism from the Department of Media Studies and Journalism and Czech Language and Literature from the Faculty of Arts at the Masaryk University in Brno. He has been working in PR since 2013; his first experience was working at Hamax in Norway, where he was for internship after graduation. Later he worked in cultural magazine A2 and famous Prague jazz club Reduta. In April 2014 he came to the Healthcare Team of AMI Communications. He is currently working at Yinachi Creative Studio. He specializes in the nonprofit sector, cooperates with patient organizations, discusses the topic of carers and is involved in the Eduzměna educational project.
He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and CEMS program at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris. He has experience in international banking institutions. During his career he completed internships in France and Hungary. He is currently working on developing cooperation with corporate clients in the area of treasury business for the Czech branch of the German bank in Prague.
